Privacy

This is what Radar collects about you and what it does with it.

What we collect

• Your email, when you get on the list, so we can issue your key and send email alerts.
• Your phone number, only if you ask for text alerts.
• Your searches and alerts: the cities, job types and areas you asked to be told about.
• Usage: how many requests your key or address makes, for rate limits and your usage panel.
• Purchases: which leads you bought. Payment details go to our payment processor, not to us.

What we don't do

We don't sell your details. We don't send marketing to the phone number you gave us for alerts; it gets your alerts and nothing else. We don't put trackers on the site beyond what's needed to run it.

People named on permits

Permit records can name a builder, an applicant or, in some cities, an owner, as published by that city. Radar shows these to members and to buyers of a lead, as the city published them. If you are named on a permit and want to ask about how Radar shows it, write to hello@gobuild.ca.

Keeping and deleting

Alerts and keys stay until you delete them. Ask us and we'll delete your account and the details above. Backups are kept for 14 days.

Where it lives

Radar runs on servers in Canada operated for GoBuild. Email goes through Resend and texts through Twilio, under their own privacy terms.

Questions: hello@gobuild.ca.
