GoBuild Radar ("Radar") is a service of GoBuild. By using the site, the API, alerts, or buying a lead, you agree to these terms.
Radar shows building-permit activity in the cities it covers: what is being built, where, how big, at what stage, and, where published, who is building it. It adds scores, estimates of the trades a job will need and when, and alerts. Scores, "likely needs" and "filed by" are our estimates from the permit record. They are stated as estimates and can be wrong.
When you buy a lead you are buying work: the full record for that permit, our tracking of it, a site visit where that is included, and our first contact on your behalf. You are buying the work, not the result. We never promise an outcome: not a reply, not a meeting, not a contract. A purchase is refunded only if the record we gave you was materially wrong, not because the job went elsewhere.
Keys are personal to the email they were issued to. Don't share them. Requests are rate-limited; limits are shown in the response headers. We may suspend keys that scrape, resell raw data, or abuse the service.
Members may use what Radar shows them to run their own business: prospecting, planning, outreach. Members may not republish, resell or redistribute the data, in whole or in part, or use it to build a competing service.
Permit records come from the cities that publish them. Each city's data is used under its licence, and some licences carry conditions you accept by using the data through Radar:
The cities are not responsible for Radar, do not endorse it, and make no promises about their data. Neither do we: records can be late, wrong or missing. Verify before you act.
Nothing on Radar is legal, financial or professional advice.
Radar is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, GoBuild is not liable for any loss arising from your use of Radar or the data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may change these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Continued use means you accept the current version.
